FAQ
What should I wear?
I always suggest being comfortable. If you are comfortable in your attire you will be more relaxed in your images. Most locations are outdoors and the dirt so please be mindful of shoes. My suggestion for heels; bring them with, but wear sandals that are comfortable as we walk from location to location.
Tips:
- Coordinating colors, not matching
- Keep bold prints to a minimum
- Solids with a just a pop of prints is ideal
- When in doubt Pinterest or ask me
I want a milestone package for my child but can we have family shots as well?
Yes, and no... You would then want to purchase the Family collection and we can add a cake smash session to that. Another option would be to do a custom package that I can provide pricing for.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
Always ask me... if time permits I will let you know. Pricing and images will reflect the additional time added.
What kind of gear do you use?
I am a Nikon girl! I trade between a 3400 and 7100. I also am in love with 85mm lens.
Do I have to order prints through you and when can I expect my images?
I do not provide prints at this time. However I am happy to provide print suggestions. I will deliver an online gallery within 2 weeks that you can share and download at your leisure.
Do's and Dont's
DO
- Ask all the questions
- Share images you love with me, either mine or another photographers
- Show up 10 minutes early
-Be dressed and ready to go at our session start time
- If you have a pose in mind... tell me
- Have fun, be bold in your choices
- Keep your cell phone in the car
DON'T
- Take cell phone pictures while I am shooting, the session will end immediately
-Give your children anything red, orange or chocolate before our session (they stain the skin and teeth).
- Change clothes mid session unless agreed prior
- Show up late: sessions start and end at the contracted time
- Add a facebook or Instagram filter
- Edit any image on your own without my written permission
How long do you keep images?
Images will be held for 1 year from our session date. Please make sure that you are saving them in a special place. Mini session images are not held.
Pricing is subject to change...
I pride myself in being an affordable photographer. Every year in February I increase my pricing slightly. If one of the packages that I have listed does not fit your budget I do offer seasonal sessions, mini sessions and limited release sessions via my facebook page throughout the year.
